螺旋风管其长度等方面是要好于矩形风管：这是由于普通的螺旋风管，其正常长度是为3米到6米，而矩形风管其是为1米到1.5米，除此之外，螺旋风管的长度，还能够依照具体需求来定做，从其它方面来看，螺旋风管中的连接点，是能够很大程度上根绝的，由于其风管之间的连接，只用管接件，而矩形风管则需求双法兰体系。

1、通风管道加工的过程中应该尽量避免出现纵向接缝，但是一定不能出现横向接缝。而且通风管道的咬口缝和四角的缝隙处，需要按照设计洁净等级要求，然后还要采用密封胶将其堵严。另外通风管道板材的连接缝的密封面应该设在通风管道壁的正压侧。

2、加工的时候，不能在通风管道内部设置加固框或者加固筋，因为这样对于通风管道的质量会造成一定的影响。
